Regulations and Volume Standards for Renewable Fuel Standards
Regulations for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program are under 40 CFR Part 80, Subpart M (occasionally known as “RFS2”) and were promulgated in 2010. The original RFS rule (occasionally known as “RFS1”) in 40 CFR Part 80, Subpart K, was promulgated in 2007.
